Urgent Job

Sharon Keevins • July 30, 2015
- prices need to be keener, deadlines are more critical - so when a long standing Trade customer called us on Tuesday morning with an enquiry for 1,332,500 labels over 8 sorts, wound onto rolls of 500, we offered the best price we possibly could.

A short time after sending the quote, a call came in; "It’s a new customer for us, with lots of potential, can he have them Friday AM? Oh, it's to 205 different addresses!”

We like a challenge, so with a studio already busy, we called on Ellen at Brownetts, who duly had plates ready for collection that evening, the job was running on our 2 colour Focus Proflex by 8.30 on Wednesday morning, with finishing through one of our A B Graphic Turret Re-wind units. The 10,000 mt job, produced on Herma 242/62D, was packed in to its 205 individual boxes and ready for collection by on courier at 2.00pm on Thursday.
