The Secura Labels team gathered together again yesterday to recognise and celebrate Chris Frearson’s fantastic milestone of 15 Years Service. He was presented with a cake and some well deserved gifts on behalf of the whole team, as a small ‘Thank You’ for his continued commitment and contribution to the business.

Chris’ journey with Secura Labels had a somewhat unusual start, as, although he was already familiar to us as his mum Jane looks after our finances, Chris first worked with us in 2010 when we were expanding into a neighbouring unit and he was working on site as a temporary labourer to clear the debris during the building works.

He then left to take up a role at a local chemist, but was soon offered a permanent position with us as a rewinder, as we were continuing to expand and take on more work. From there, Chris quickly progressed to running our Flexo presses, and soon became an integral member of our production team, having the skills and flexibility to switch to wherever he was required, but nowadays is mostly to be seen operating our 6 colour press.

Outside of work, Chris is known for his love of music, having attended many gigs and festivals over the years, but is almost equally well known for having a similar number of hairstyles and colours during that time. He is also an avid traveller and thrill seeker, having completed trips to Texas for ComicCon, as well as trying his hand at skydiving and bungee jumping. We can’t wait to see what he’ll do next.

So, once again, we say ‘Thank You Chris, for an amazing 15 years of hard work, enthusiasm and dedication’. We are very proud to have you as part of the Secura Labels team and look forward to many more years ahead.
