2021 has seen several new faces here at Secura Labels and a landmark long service achievement.



In May we saw the arrival of our third AB Graphics turret rewind unit. This helped us manage the increased number of long running jobs, but also gave us the option of offering 19mm i/d cores for larger orders.

This was followed in early June by a dedicated blanks press from Bar Graphic Machinery,  this allowing additional capacity as demand for plain labels continues to increase.

Into August and as we approach our traditionally busier period we welcome Karen to the team. Karen will be found in the finishing area, operating one of our re-wind machines and also the plain label presses. Karen has spent most of her working life in print, including working for some of our trade customers, and we look forward to integrating her experience and knowledge.   

A highlight of the Autumn was joining together to celebrate Ian`s 30 Years service. Joining Secura in our Hot Foil department Ian has become a valued member of the team. While his primary role is still running our Foil press, Ian can turn his hand to running most machines and is our "go to" for breakdowns and trouble shooting. His methodical mind and ability to see past the initial / obvious problem has helped us out on many occasions. 

It is also true that his skill has been put to use on colleagues cars, often being called on to "have a quick look at this Ian".
